Through the power of Networks, we create value for our communities every day - visit by visit.
Who we are
We are Visit Langa, an inter-community tourism initiative operating through the InterCommunity Tourism Agency (ICTA), a business unit of iKhaya le Langa. Based in the Langa Quarter, we create authentic, immersive tourism experiences that are led by the community and deeply connected to Langa’s history, culture, and everyday life. Our work positions Langa not as a stopover, but as a meaningful destination in its own right.
What we believe in
We believe tourism should be a force for positive change. It should respect people and place, protect cultural heritage, and contribute to long-term social and economic development. We believe in shifting perceptions of townships by focusing on people, creativity, resilience, and shared human experiences rather than stereotypes or exploitation.
How we do business
Our people
We operate with a strong commitment to sustainability, transparency, and community benefit. Our tours and programmes are co-created with local entrepreneurs, artists, and residents, ensuring that economic value stays within the community. By working collaboratively we create experiences that are enriching for visitors while strengthening local businesses, skills development, and employment opportunities. The Visit Langa network mitigates fragility delving a consistent service and environment that is cleaner and safer.
Our community based team is made up of passionate local hosts, guides, creatives, and social entrepreneurs and extraordinary community members that work together to present Langa’s past present and future.
